Law degree from the Law School of the University of Coimbra and registered at the Portuguese Bar Association since 1978.

He is a legal consultant for private law foundations and companies from areas such as industry, teaching and culture and a litigation lawyer. He has collaborated with pharmaceutical, aeronautics and audio-visual companies.
