Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 1978. He is legal counsel to private law foundations, companies in the industrial, education and cultural sectors, and a litigation lawyer. He has collaborated with companies in the pharmaceutical, aeronautical and audiovisual industries.

His professional career includes roles as Deputy State Prosecutor, Judge, Chief of Staff to the Minister of Justice Dr. Menéres Pimentel, Director General of the Judicial Police, Head of Legal Advisory at B.C.P. and Compliance Officer at B.C.P. He practises primarily in Banking and Finance, Commercial and Corporate Law, Insolvency and Business Recovery, and Litigation. Member of the Portuguese Bar Association.

She began her career as a tax consultant in 2006, working for four years at international audit firms in the banking sector, before moving into legal advisory for multinational companies and family offices in: tax law (including corporate income tax, personal income tax, excise duties and VAT) and related tax litigation, corporate law and corporate restructurings. She also worked at Servdebt Capital Asset Management, Portugal, and at ‘Alves Mendes, Jardím Gonçalves & Associados’.
